| AIMS HealthCare Associates is currently recruiting to fill the following positions:
CEO/Administrator (Bi-Lingual – Spanish & English) Positions available in various international locations. Administers, directs and coordinates all activities of the hospital to carry out its objectives in the provision of healthcare and the improvement of community health status in a financially appropriate way. Assumes full operational responsibilities in conjunction with the assigned Director and other corporate staff including the execution of policy formulated by the Board of Directors, medical staff and operational entities within the facility. Masters or Bachelors Degree in Business and/or Healthcare Administration. Minimum of 5 years applied hospital experience. Conceptual and human skills required with knowledge of technical, administrative and operational skills.
Chief Financial Officer Responsibilities include accounting, financial reporting, capital/operating budgets, performing operational audits and financial projections and providing fiscal direction. CPA required – MBA preferred - 5 years experience as CFO.
HIM Director Assures that the HIM Department operates in conformity with standards of the JCAHO, Medicare & Medicaid regulations and other applicable regulatory agencies. Develops, executes and reviews departmental policies and procedures consistent with hospital-wide policies. Strong leadership and communication skills required. RHIA or RHIT required – Minimum of 2 years experience as HIM Director and 1 or more year’s experience as a supervisor of coding, transcription and assembly/analysis of medical records.
Lead Coder Be accessible on a daily basis for the coding staff and outside customers regarding coding and billing related issues. Assists coding staff with patient financial services follow-up and work with the appropriate manager on organizing coding education sessions. Performs coding audit verification and monitor SMART edits on a daily basis. Assist with the development of coding guidelines, policies and procedures as needed. Acts as liaison between patient financial services, charge audit and clinical departments on coding issues. Trains new coders as needed in the coding and abstracting process. Performs documentation audits. Actively seeks to promote and maintain a positive, professional, team oriented and service conscious environment. RHIA, RHIT, or CCS preferred.
Coder II Translates clinical documentation from the medical record into diagnostic and procedural codes for the purpose of hospital reimbursement and the maintenance of an accurate database. Abstracted medical information will be utilized for the purpose of reimbursement, planning, data analysis and research. Position will be responsible for processing mail, including electronic formats, telephone coverage and other clerical tasks in support of the coding department. Assists with the development and/or reviews of coding guidelines, policies and procedures as needed. Maintains coding skills through continuing education and reading of distributed material. Trains new coders as requested in the coding and abstracting process. Demonstrates excellence in communication skills and positive interpersonal relations. RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC-H, CCA or completion of Coding Certificate program or HIM Correspondence Course.
